SCHEDULE & RESULTS

The Braves open up the 2022 season on the road against the RV Devils. Quarterback Drew Craig threw the ball 32 times, completing 20 of those for 193 yards. Zach Zerbe the running back, ran for 86 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. He also caught the ball for 71 yards. Harold Hill had 52 yards receiving. The defense played tough but RV ended up winning 21-14.

The Braves faced off against the Kingsway Dragons at their first home game. The Braves offense scored the first touchdown with quarterback Drew Craig passing for 139 yards and throwing 2 touchdowns. He also scored 1 rushing touchdown. Zach Zerbe rushed for 74 yards, and Julian Noel had 49 receiving yards and a touchdown. Finally, Aubrey Green also scored a 31 yard receiving touchdown. On defense, Harold Hill had an interception and Keaton Aucello had a fumble recovery. The defense held strong preventing the Dragons from scoring at all in the second half. Braves win 28-14.

The Braves go back on the road to take on the Thunderbolts. On offense, Drew Craig completed 22 passes for 250 yards and one touchdown. Zach Zerbe rushed for 46 yards and 2 touchdowns. Julian Noel rushed for 24 yards and had 113 yards receiving. He scored one rushing and one receiving touchdown. The defense gave them a fight but with 3 turnovers it was a struggle. Millville wins 49-28.

The Braves return home for Senior night to take on Lenape. On offense, Drew Craig threw the ball for 118 yards and went 11 for 17, and threw 1 touchdown pass to Aubrey Greene. Aubrey had 60 yards receiving. Zach Zerbe rushed for 143 yards and scored 1 touchdown. The defense fought hard but a blocked extra point led to a Lenape 14-13 win over the Braves.

The Braves go back on the road to take on Township. On offense, Drew Craig had 16 completions for 220 yards passing, and Julian Noel had 104 receiving and 24 rushing yards as well as a touchdown. Julian Noel also received a plaque for Williamstown's MVP this game. Second half things fell apart and Township ended up winning 27-6.

The Braves head back home and faced off against Cherokee with some key injuries. On offense Julian Noel had 22 yards rushing and 35 yards receiving. Drew Craig had 83 yards passing and Ke'Shawn Nixon rushed for 24 yards. On defense Harold Hill had a pick six and scored a touchdown. Jackson Colbert and Julien Noel both had 10 tackles. The Braves had a rough go of it and lost 41-6.

The Braves went back on the road to take on the Prep. On offense Drew Craig had 17 completions for 80 yards. Zach Zerbe rushed for 34 yards and 1 touchdown. Julian Noel rushed for 23 yards and 1 touchdown. Jordan Foley had 45 receiving yards. On special teams Harold Hill ran for 90 yards with 2 kickoff returns and 1 touchdown. On defense at linebacker position Jaxon Colbert had 13 tackles. Keaton Aucello and Alex Hollimon both had 1 interception each. The season continues to prove to be a tough one for the Braves and Prep wins 38-20.

This week the Braves continued on the road and went against the Timber Creek Chargers. On offense Drew Craig completed 17 passes for 119 yards and 1 touchdown to Aubrey Green. Julian Noel had 54 rushing yards. Special teams had 2 kickoff returns that led to 2 touchdowns, one from Julian Noel that was 78 yards, and one from Harold Hill for 68 yards. On defense Jack Cummins and Nolan Lloyd each had a fumble recovery. The defense held strong this week and the Braves get there second win of the year with a score of 22-16.

The Braves come home for their last regular season game and faced off against Shawnee. On offense Drew Craig had 20 completions for 267 yards and 1 touchdown pass to Anthony Lanteigne, who also had 111 yards receiving. Zach Zerbe had 45 receiving yards and 1 rushing touchdown. Julian Noel had 47 rushing yards and 27 receiving, and led the defense with 13 tackles. Harold Hill had 63 yards on kick returns. Shawnee wins 30-14 but Braves still make the playoffs.
